PayPal & Stripe Fee Calculator (Reverse & Standard)
Disclaimer
Stop losing your hard-earned money to hidden processing fees. When you invoice a client for $1,000, PayPal or Stripe takes a cut, and you end up with less.
Pixedra’s Payment Fee Calculator solves this. Whether you are a freelancer, dropshipper, or agency owner, use our Reverse Fee Mode to calculate exactly how much you need to bill your client so that the final amount hitting your bank account is exactly what you expect.
The Problem: Losing Money on Every Invoice
When you invoice a client for $1,000, you are not getting $1,000. PayPal or Stripe deducts their fees first. For a standard international PayPal transaction (4.4% + $0.49), your $1,000 invoice leaves you with only ~$955. You've lost $45.
Our calculator shows you that to receive $1,000, you actually need to invoice for ~$1,046.
How to Calculate Fees (and Get Paid Fully)
- Select Payment Processor: Choose PayPal (Standard), Stripe, or International rates from the dropdown.
- Select Mode:
- You will receive: Use this to see how much you will lose in fees.
- You will invoice (Reverse): Use this to find out how much to charge the client to cover the fees.
- Enter Amount: Type your desired amount (e.g., $1,000).
- View Result: The tool breaks down the Processing Fee and the Net Amount instantly.

Why Use the "Reverse" Calculator?
The "Reverse Invoice" Strategy
If you agreed on a $500 project fee, but you send an invoice for $500 via PayPal, you will only receive approx $485.20. You effectively lost ~$15.
To receive the full $500, select the "You will receive" tab. The tool will tell you to invoice for $515.24. This ensures the client pays the fee, not you.
