Yes. You can select a country (USA, UK, India) from the dropdown to automatically exclude major public holidays. By default, no holidays are excluded.

Can I include Saturdays as working days?

Yes. If your work week is 6 days (Mon-Sat), simply check the "Count Saturdays as a working day" switch to include them in the calculation.

Why "Business Days" Matter

In the US, UK, and most of Europe, a business day is any day from Monday through Friday, excluding federal or bank holidays.

Standard Week: 5 Working Days.
Shipping/Logistics: "5-7 Business Days" shipping means a package ordered on Friday might not arrive until the following Tuesday or Wednesday.
Legal/Finance: Contracts often specify "30 Business Days," which is actually 6 weeks of real time (42 calendar days). Use our calculator to convert this accurately.
